I was recently approached by a domain sales company offering to sell me a .com domain similar to one I had just purchased three weeks earlier for the low, low price of $397.00. Yes, that’s right $397.00!
So, I’ve been back from vacation for a little over a week now, in fact this is the first time I’ve had an opportunity to take a moment and write a post. It’s been pretty busy since I got back from vacation to say the least. It’s just another reminder of why these vacations are so darn important.
I have to say, I’m very excited about the upcoming Virtually, Anything is Possible…Infinite Prospects and Possibilities of the VA Industry online symposium that is coming up. The event is being hosted by Red Deer College’s VA Certificate Program graduating students and they have done a fantastic job with it.
I had to share with you an experience that recently happened to me. I was attending my son’s parent/teacher night at his high school a week ago. Okay, so not the best feedback I was hoping for, but hey that’s a whole other story. Anyways, I was chatting with one of his teachers and the subject of occupations came up. I explained that I was a VA and a College Instructor.
This past Monday we celebrated Family Day here in Ontario. It’s not a nation-wide holiday in Canada, only certain provinces recognize Family Day, luckily I live in one that does. It’s amazing to think that we actually have a holiday that is dedicated to spending quality time with our family.
