Well can you believe it? 2010 already here!
2009 was a whirlwind of a year some good, and some not, but that’s just life isn’t it? A new year always represents a new beginning for me, a new path to explore all those things I didn’t get the chance to in previous years.
It’s kind of like starting with a fresh new slate!
Each new year I take the opportunity to review the last and actually pick a theme that best represents the following year –2009 was a year of challenges & triumphs. A challenging year on a number of levels, yet each challenge provided an opportunity to “plow ahead” and make things even better – and that’s where the triumph came in! Overall 2009 was a year of growth, both professionally and personally and I’m thankful for that.
Now 2010 is going to be a whole other story. It represents a year of learning for me. I have to say I have been so tied up the past year with just simply “getting it done” that I haven’t taken the time to challenge my brain with new learning. I’ve really missed the thrill of expanding my knowledge and getting the “high” of taking on a new challenge. There are so many things out there that I would love to dive right into and learn more about…and this is the year that I have committed to doing it.
So what about you? What does 2010 represent for you?
What are you committed to doing this year to make it a fantastic year?
Let’s hear it!

As you know my friend 2009 was probably one of my most challenging years ever from a personal perspective so my focus there is on self awareness, growth and change. On the business side it will be all about team and client building. Looking forward to both and putting 2009 far behind me!!!

Like you, Michelle, I enjoy the challenge of new learning. One of my difficulties is selecting from the “candy shop” of all that’s out there to learn. What criteria are you using to decide which is the “best” new learning opportunity?
