I have to say 2009 is turning into a really exciting year for the VA industry. There is so much going on it’s hard to keep up with it all. For those of you who may not know, take a gander at www.vacertified.com.
The first VA certification of its kind, coordinated at a global level. It’s a unique certification in the sense that it speaks to not only work experience, but education/training and the contributions the VA has made to the VA industry (which I love). I was honoured to be asked to be a part of the board as a Sr. Industry Advisor and I have to say, there is no other VA certification out there that is as comprehensive as this one. It’s a VA certification that doesn’t look at simply just one aspect, but the whole package…in other words the whole YOU! I really recommend you take a look at it!
Another exciting event that is coming our way is the Forum on Virtual Assistance. It takes place June 3-June 7, 2009 at the lovely Niagara Falls, Ontario. A beautiful setting for a fantastic event! I was a speaker at the last FoVA and I have to tell you, it was one of the best VA conferences I have ever attended. The line up of speakers was exception and this year will be even better. I am particularly stoked for this event because I will be presenting a full-day workshop for Multi-VA business owners called the Multi-VA Clinic. A clinic that I run exclusively for FoVA! You will not find another like it anywhere. I absolutely love running this clinic and this year I’ve invited some of my Multi-VA pals along to share their expertise with the participants. Terry Green, Mary-Lou Ashton, Kristi Pavlik and Pam Ivey will be joining in on the session and providing some fantastic demos and insights on how they run their Multi-VA business. It’s going to be awesome…I guess you can tell how excited I am about it. I hope you can make it and if you see me stop and say “Hi”. You can normally find me at the nearest bar -LOL, only joking!
